It’s decent, but not Irish Spring

This soap really doesn’t have any similarities to Irish spring. Does it smell good? Yes. Does it lather? Yes, but I bought this soap for its claim that it resembles the original Irish spring bar soap. Unfortunately, this claim falls way short. I guess I went in thinking that it would be a close match, so I had a bias from the start but nonetheless, the bar is decent overall. One thing I wished was more pronounced is the potency of the fragrance. I love to smell like spent a week in the shower, so these independent soap makers tend to make “gentler” formulas and that is a turn off for me unfortunately. I associate that with little to no fragrance or leaving the shower not feeling clean. The potency of the fragrance is important to me and this soap fell short in this category.

I'm obsessed with this lather! Love the Cool Spring soap. Peach is also nice. Very nice soap recipe. 5 🌟
